Claydon Auctioneers frequently hold Valuation Days at our saleroom and various locations in the surrounding area.
Pre-Auction Valuations
If you are unable to attend one of these events, we are very pleased to offer free pre-auction valuations with a view to items being consigned for auction. These can be carried out at our saleroom, or for larger items and collections at your own home, please contact our office for more information.
Online Valuations

Insurance Valuations
Claydon Auctioneers’ experienced team of valuers can provide insurance valuations to cover single items or larger collections. Claydon can assist with both household insurance valuations and corporate valuations, together with services for museums and institutions. Please contact our office to discuss your requirements.
Probate and Family Division Valuations
Claydon Auctioneers are experienced in working with solicitors, executors and families to provide valuations for the purpose of probate / inheritance tax. Probate valuations can also form the basis of the equitable division of an estate, amongst beneficiaries and / or the eventual sale at auction of any surplus antiques and chattels.
Single Owner & Corporate Collections
Claydon Auctioneers are able to undertake the auction of single owner collections, as well as entire contents of selected houses, and items from both individual owners and corporate organisations. These auctions can either be held at our purpose-built saleroom in Buckinghamshire, or on location.
House Clearance Services
Claydon Auctioneers also offer a complete house clearance service. A house clearance can often be required for a number of reasons, perhaps owing to downsizing or following bereavement. Unlike house clearing firms we act as your agent, and endeavour to maximise the return to you from items sold at auction. Our team can assist with packing and delivery to our saleroom, where items will be sorted and allocated to the most appropriate auction. Any items which we are unable to sell on your behalf will be donated to charity, recycled or disposed of, we are licensed waste carriers. Please contact us to discuss this service further.
